Another weekend has passed and it's Monday again. This one started off a little rocky with Max letting us know toddlerhood is here and it's here to stay - climbing, protesting, screeching, taking shots at his brother. I keep referring to him as a baby and baby he is not. It's been a few years since this stage and we are getting back in fighting shape. It ended on a much sweeter note and mostly all it took was changing my own expectations and attitude. That's pretty much where all my parenting lessons lead. Why can't I remember that before I take the inevitable ride on the crazy train of emotion? It's ok, I always get there one way or another. Have a great week!
New book that I am excited and a little terrified to start (finished Commonwealth and Option B, two thumbs up for both!)
Impromptu brunch with Jay's mom. Bacon and cheese fritata and lime/honey yogurt with peaches.
Doing Chase's kindergarten summer homework.
Homemade margs.
Sunday night food prep. Did I take a lot of joy in this? Yes.
Swinging!
New Trina Turk suit for Mexico. Embracing the high waist bottom.
Selfie in between front squat sets, as one does.
